In mainland Europe, the rides from one place to another average 230 miles. Each circular tour is about 160 miles, so there will be plenty of time for us to take photos, and have coffee, lunch and tea.

The ferry crossings, if booked today (7/6/17) at the Saver rate, would cost around £150 each way. That’s for one bike, and one person in a cabin. You can make the crossings a lot cheaper if you arrange to share a cabin. Please make your own ferry bookings, remembering that on 31st March we’re going on the Hull-Zeebrugge service and on 7th April we’re returning on the Rotterdam-Hull service.

The hotels are fantastic value at around €50,00 per night for a single room with breakfast. Check out their websites at http://www.hotel-moseltal.de/de/ and http://www.gasthaus-staude.de/. If you wish to keep costs to a minimum, you may wish to make an arrangement with another person or persons to share a twin or family room. Please contact the hotels yourself to make your bookings. They can take your booking in English, whether on-line or by phone. Remember you should book Hotel zum Moseltal for the nights of Sunday 1st April and Friday 6th April and Gasthaus Staude for the nights of 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th April. Rooms are available on a first-come-first-served basis, and not just to people in our group, so if you’re interested, I’d advise you to book soon.

When you’ve made your ferry and hotel bookings, please tell me by email that you have done so and I’ll keep publishing an up-to-date list of participants on our RAM riders Facebook group and on this web page.
