Here is the route information for the ride-out planned for this coming Saturday, Oct 31st 2015.
As you probably know, we try to plan a longer route for the ride-out on ‘Last Saturday of every Month’. This month, the route is 140 miles long and includes a ‘Proper Breakfast’ stop, a quick visit to site of the new IBCC (International Bomber Command Centre) outside Lincoln and an afternoon tea stop too. My thanks to Ian Cardwell who knocked my original concept into shape.
All members are invited to come along. Associates will need an observer to accompany you, but see the Guidance Secretary if your own man cannot make it.
We’ll leave McD’s at 10.00. For those who can’t make the full day ride, we’ve included several opportunities for them to cut the route short and break away, if they need to get back home a bit earlier than the planned 4.30 finish back at McD’s.
The route has been created in 2 SatNav formats – GPX for Zumo 590 and TomTom (using Tyre to import) and also GDB format for Zumo 550 & 660’s and BMW Nav V. There is also a JPEG file giving an overview of the route.
For those of you who don’t use a SatNav we’ve done a printout, which we’ll give out at McD’s before we depart.
If you have any questions please contact Ian Cardwell or myself.
